Very good news about AO PAF. Thanks for the quick work, I can see the wiki.

Bill,

I've added all of you to the wiki. Each new user should have received a notification. If that didn't make it to any of you, please let me know.

The AO deployment went ok. There were as always a number of glitches associated with deploying a new front end and a new back end, as you can imagine. Still, everything ended up working. The back end was functional, and the acquisition software worked fairly well. The front end also was functional, other than a couple of dead LNAs. Sensitivity was reasonable.

To Brian and Karl,

I stumbled back on this and noticed the wiki link again.

Can you create accounts for me, Rick Fisher, Anish Roshi, Bob Simon, and David Saroff

You can email me directly for any information needed to do this.

Arecibo go OK?

Bill

Hi Rick,

This looks like a great start on tracking what needs to be done. Thanks for setting it up.

We should also let you know that Richard and the other students added an entry into our wiki to serve as a repository for users manuals, software and firmware, example data sets, etc. for our back end. The emphasis is on preparation for our Arecibo experiment, but we need to begin looking at what additional entries are needed to support the Green Bank experiments. Most of what is already in there will apply.

The URL is: https://radioastron.groups.et.byu.net/dokuwiki/doku.php

This is an access controlled wiki, but I think Rick, Bob, and Anish may already have passwords. If not, or if anyone else would like access, Karl Warnick can set you up with an account.

Brian

Feel free to add to it.
