We have deployed a new version of the L356 MIB code in which the
clock-gps drift counters have been "unwrapped" -- the delays between
maser and GPS, etc, now show values between -64,000,000 and 63,999,999
rather than 0 to 127,999,999. Under the previous version of the code,
negative values were shown as positive integers between 64,000,000 and
127,999,999. Under the new code, they are displayed as negative
integers. These integers represent the time, in counts of the 128MHz
clock, of the delay between a rising edge of the GPS 1PPS tick and a
rising edge of the the Maser (or Rubidium) 1PPS tick.
After loading the MIB image and rebooting, the maser-vs-GPS drift value
returned to the value it had before the reboot, indicating that the FPGA
synthesizing the PPS signal appears to have been unaffected by the MIB
reboot. Please let me know if you see any evidence that this is not the
case -- any discrepancies in PPS, WIDAR clocks, NTP, etc.
