    The current EVLA situation is even worse than stated in the last 
message.   There are enormous closure errors, in addition to the loss in 
sensitivity. 

    CALIB, when run with all antennas, shows closure errors in excess of 
100% for EVLA antennas only.  When the antenna set is  restricted to VLA 
antennas only, there are no errors above the 5% level.  When the antenna 
set is restricted to EVLA antennas only, closure errors at the 50% level 
are seen on all EVLA antennas. 

    This is a serious issue, and needs speedy attention.
