[evlatests] VLA archive oddities

michael is right that this is serious for real projects.

john benson is able to fix these things up in the archive.  in the short term we 
should get him a list of just what needs to be fixed, for these "real" observations.

in the longer term we need to fix it, of course, but i'm sure walter is puzzling 
about what to do even as i write this...
