Today I went to the site to upgrade the CMP boards to the deployment
version. I was planning on a 1/2-1 hour visit to reload the flash
on both boards. Things did not go as planned.

The power supply for the VME chassis that we've been using all this
time died suddenly. I spent my time taking both VME chassis apart to
transfer cables and connectors around. Finally I was able to make the
second unit usable in the environment of the rack.

So, the good news we have a working CMP, with the deployment version,
at the site. The bas news, we don't have a backup system. We need to
order a replacement power supply (I don't know if it is feasible. I
am looking into it) or a new VME chassis.
