ahhh, OK.

pointing files shouldn't be created by hand in this way.  obs2script 
doesn't know when to start the file, and gets confused.

you should use the scripts i created specially for this.  there are two 
versions: 1 - /home/mchost/evla/bin/evlapointbase - this one assumes you 
are using one of the two files: sysptgx or sysptgc only; 2 - 
/home/mchost/evla/bin/kenpointbase - this one allows you to specify any 
pointing or baselines file, but you have to give it the fully specified 
name (full path name) for both input and output files.

i sent out instructions on the first one a month or so ago.  i guess 
they didn't propagate in the right way :/...  the second was created at 
ken's request last friday.
