[daip] Issue with installation {External}

Hello sir/ma'am,
I am a Master's student and I have been trying to install AIPS via 'install.pl' file provided on the main site on my ubuntu dektop (v22.04) since the past month. But for some reason, it fails to compile certain packages (F2PS, F2TEXT, NEWEST, PRINTENV, AIPWD, REVENV) and building of  PP preprocessor (PP.EXE), due to these issues, it is preventing further required packages to build and install such as INSTEP2 , XASTV, AIPS TV and so on.
I went through a similiar issue on (https://listmgr.nrao.edu/pipermail/daip/2001-February/001143.html) but it didn't help me.

Any help regarding this issue will be really helpful for me.
