The task finds only 1 sample in the data set for each triangle.  Since it cannot scale the plot from only 1 point it tries to skip the particular plot and go on to the next.  It does this badly at the moment, failing to close the data I/O on the way out.  The next triangle comes along and needs to open the data set and cannot since it was not closed.  I discovered that it will make the plots if you set BPARM(3) ~ 1,-180,180,-180,180.  More after I find a better solution.
