Hi Eric,
I submitted a ticket but must have done it under 'General' as it doesn't
relate to any particular telescope. I should've just selected VLA, then I
can use the AIPS sub-category.
My original ticket said...
After trying to install 31DEC18 AIPS I get the following error.
START_AIPS: Starting TPMON daemons on RGLINUX13 asynchronously...
Starting up 31DEC18 AIPS with normal priority
/u1/AIPS/31DEC18/LNX64/LOAD/ZSTRTA.EXE: /usr/lib64/libgfortran.so.3:
version `GFORTRAN_1.4' not found (required by
/u1/AIPS/31DEC18/LNX64/LOAD/ZSTRTA.EXE)
[aips at rglinux13 ~]$ DADEVS.PL: This program is untested under Perl version
5.010
STARTPMON: [RGLINUX13] Starting TPMON1 with output SUPPRESSED
TPMON1: /usr/lib64/libgfortran.so.3: version `GFORTRAN_1.4' not found
(required by TPMON1)
It worked fine with the previous version, and /usr/lib64/libgfortran.so.3
does exist (points to libgfortran.so.3.0.0). I dont think gfortran is out
of date either since /usr/lib64/libgfortran.so.3.0.0 has a date stamp from
the end of June.
By local installation do you mean the text one which seems to be the
alternative? I'll give it a go instead.
Best,
Holly
