Hi Eric,

   Thanks. I understand that CELLSIZE is in pixel and refers to the width of smoothing functions. However, it is not clear to me how A and B are derived in particular cases of Hanning and Gaussian smoothing.
e.g. if 3 pixel Hanning smoothing is done, then A=2. This will mean the FLUX value will be (1.5 to 4)*RMS/sqrt(2) (assuming no smoothing in spatial coordinates) according to this equation. This puzzles me as 3 pix Hanning smoothing should change the noise in each pix by (sqrt(6)/4)*RMS (Verheijen & Sancisi 2001), and hence the FLUX values should be multiple of it.
