This was doomed to failure since it was trying to get your laptop to execute a script at an address correct for your desktop but not your laptop.  It also was trying to do it with a host name that is obviously not valid.  I suspect that, having started TVs on the laptop you could have said tvok to the desktop and it might have worked.
