The frequency in the headers in two spectral line data sets taken on different days will in general always be slightly different, and I've never had DBCON complain about this before. The "MULTI-FREQUENCY DATABASES INCOMPATIBLE" error was new and only happened for the FQCENTER=0 case.

My understanding had been that DOPOS=-1 tells the program to ignore any frequency differences no matter how egregious. I then thought DOPOS(2)=1 was telling it to pay attention to any differences (as long as they are not >0.1%) and deal with them (e.g., using different scaling factors). But in reality are the two cases handled identically aside from the sanity check?
