New Client Reply: CL tables with no entries for a source

Hi Eric: Does GAINCAL (or something like, whatever the underlying routine that interpolates CL table to the time of the requested calibrated vis record) not keep track of which sources the CL table records are for?

Its not really wrong - if you really have no CL table entries interpolating is probably the best thing you can do.
However, in my experience if you wind up with no CL entries for your source, then something has likely gone wrong with the calibration, and backing up and fixing what has gone wrong is much more likely to produce sensible results than interpolation.
