New Staff Reply: AIPS data area on CV multivac

I am unfamiliar with this complicated setup in CV and got in
trouble the last time I tried anything with it but:

You can make a file in your home area (assuming you are running as you)
called .dadevs.always with contents such as

+  path to your lustre area for AIPS (make a directory)
+  /DATA/MULTIVAC15
+  /DATA/MULTIVAC17

Note the + means use this data area first and always no matter what computer
and there are 2 blank spaces before you type the path name to the data area.

The messages you get when you start are important and will help us debug.

It would be possible for you to copy your data from one aips data area to
another (assuming that the data areas are cross-mounted) but only if the
target area contains **nothing** with the user number that you are using.
