New Client Reply: AIPS EDITR not subtracting running average?

Dear Eric,

I have the previous version of 31DEC10 I was using cached on my machine. I reduced the same dataset (BM352A8 - reasonably good data with a strong source detection) with each of 31DEC10 and 31DEC13 following exactly the same reduction steps. I then called into EDITR the final calibrated data for the primary phase calibration source 0347+2339 (applied the last CL table and bandpass calibration). Attached are screengrabs of the same representative baseline for each. As you can see, the displayed amplitudes are all pretty much the same while the displayed phase values are quite different. I recover the source when imaging at basically the same level in both reductions.

For reference, the version of 31DEC10 I have was downloaded on September 3rd, 2010. I just updated to 31DEC13 on April 18th.

Could you comment on which of the two screengrabs is displaying the phase data properly? Perhaps I just got used to seeing the buggy 31DEC10 version.

Thanks
-Carl
