New Ticket: ASDMFILE

Hi, 
I am running BDF2AIPS. My full path name is very long (/export/home/megrez/pchandra/10C-185.sb3995447.eb4006567.55674.254717777774) so I am using
ASDMFILE(1)='/export/home/megrez/pchandra/10C-185.sb399......
ASDMFILE(2)=447.eb4006567.55674.254717777774

This is giving me error. What is the correct format of ASDMFILE  for long strings?

My second related question is the following: I rename the directory 10C-185.sb3995447.eb4006567.55674.254717777774 to 10C-185.1 and used 
ASDMFILE='/export/home/megrez/pchandra/10C-185..1

Now BDF2AIPS runs but gives me "RuntimeError" saying

BDFin: Error 20120321T194513 GetHeader: No scans found matching selection criteria

However, BDF2AIPS does seem to create .UVEVLA file. 
Any help will be appreciated. I am working with SDM-BDF file and running BDF2AIPS for the first time, hence these questions.
