Hi Poonam,

First of all you don't need the /export part. I typically use the path in asdm(1) and the file name in 
asdm(2) as then when you get to a second SDM you only need to change the asdm(2). I see you have also 
found my favorite way by creating a workable and shorter name. Now the error message.. I am assuming the 
error is not due to the two dots in 10C-185..1 as you wrote. Have you run BDFLIST on the ASDM first? 
You will then see that there are configurations defined to your setups, one for pointing and one for each 
observed setup, most likely you have set the configuration number to the one with the pointing data only 
and you need the other configuration. It may also be that your selection of spectral windows etc does not 
match with what is reported by BDFLIST. I think we mention how to use BDFLIST in the documentation (Cook E)
