New Staff Reply: calibration of ATCA data

Unfortunately, AIPS does not do a proper job handling linearly polarized feeds.
In fact, some people are now taking low-band (i.e. P band) data from AIPS to
Miriad to deal with linear feeds.  It is said that CASA handles linearly
polarized feeds and that it can do that as a function of spectral channel.
