I am back but I suspect that Amy's analysis was correct.  The 
$AIPS_ROOT/DA00/NETSP file must contain non-zero numbers which do not 
include yours.  This option is rarely used these days but I suppose it 
still makes sense on shared computers.

How are the kiddos?
