[daip] problem with 31DEC11 on MacBook Pro

Numbers like 1.0 and 2.0 have exact representations in IEEE floating 
point used by Intel chips.  Furthermore, formatting routines cannot 
produce colons in the middle of characters.  I am thinking that there 
has to be hardware problems with your new computer.  What happens if you 
run a task despite the odd output of the INPUTS verb?

Does TVLOD and TVFIDDLE (TVALL) work?
