Our systems guy is out but he may be reading e-mail.

Try going to the apple symbol at the top left of the screen and pressing 
the left mouse button.  Select System Preferences.  Select Sharing under
Internet & Network.  Select the Firewall tab and scroll down.  Click the 
rsync box.

Then try again
