[daip] CALIB

Hi,

Something seems to be wrong with CALIB in the case of self-calibration and
multiple subarrays.

Attached is a UV dataset with three AN files corresponding to three days
of SMA data. This file is the result of a previous phase only self-cal
with a 1-minute solution interval, and now I am attempting a longer
phase&amp self-cal.

Also attached is the model image.

When I try to do solmode='a&p' using this combination, and the most recent
version of 31DEC08, I get very odd results. If the solution interval is
shorter than 4.5 minutes, subarray 1 is ok, but many (unreasonably) failed
in subarrays 2 & 3 - they are definitely NOT failing to S/N. If I increase
to 5 minutes, it refuses to find any solutions for subarrays 2 & 3 saying:

CALIB1: ERROR: NO VALID SOLUTIONS FOUND
CALIB1: Destroyed UV image file: catno= 27 disk= 9

I calibrated this same data a few months ago with no problems (I started
over to make a small tweak to overall flux scale).

Something very odd is going on. An example of my inputs is below.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

thanks,
crystal
