[daip] tv wont start

Odd - there should be messages here from XAS. There are "normal"
errors that can occur here but one gets messages....
Look in /tmp for files XAS1.nnnn et al. Are they there? Is XAS1
running (ps -elf | grep XA) in another window?
Try aips tv=local:2 in case XAS1 is broken and aips (with Inet TVs -
no tv=local).
