I have tested the task a lot.  It works.  If you want I can test with
your data but you must make it available to me.

But I think my question about what compiler was used is very relevant
here.  GNU 3.3 compilers had bad attributes similar to this very
complaint with the calibration software.  

Have you tried UVPRT with BIF=2?
