[daip] AIPS installation question: AMD 64 bit cpu

To Whom it may concern,

    I am trying to install 31DEC04 to a Linux box running FC3 (64 bit version). My hardware is an AMD 64 bit processor.

    Is AIPS known to successfully build on 64 bit machines/OSes? The install wizard is not autodetecting the architecture.
