I asked Wes to try to respond to the security business - I suspect
that Hollis does not have passwordless ssh privilege into the machine
- or is he sitting at the console?

When you kill the TV and then start up again, the fact that the inet
address is no longer in use takes a while to propagate.  It will work
in a minute or two.  (Why this affects the TV and nothing else I do
not know.)
