[daip] Problem with Other users in AIPS...

I think Eric's analysis is probably correct wrt to ssh. As for the  
TV, indeed the socket is held by the OS and is not releasing it back.  
It will return after some timeout period.  This socket behavior is  
typical when a socket is not closed properly.
