[daip] AIPS User ID

Hi,

I'm in the middle of installing aips in linux machine and
I have a question about user id.

Actually I'm not the person who installed it but someone
else did. He got several errors regarding disk areas and
we were able to fix those problems and now aips starts
at least.

Though we didn't know what to do with the user id
number and couldn't get into AIPS. How are user IDs
assigned? Is there any step to do that in installing? But
what if we want to add other users later?
