Dear Eric,
In continuation to my previous message, I started running AIPS in
local UNIX domain. It certainly made TV related jobs faster but stll it is
little slower than what it used to be normally. I am not running any other
job on my PC. Something strange I noticed is the following: With local
UNIX domain, when I am running SPFLG, the task is faster for first few
minutes and then it again slows down. It happened multiple times. I am
quite confused as it has not happened earlier.
Regards
Poonam.
