[daip] Problems with TV

You read the Linux AIPS Manager FAQ not the Solaris one.  For Solaris,
the problem is the shared memory size limit.  By default in Solaris
systems this is still only a Megabyte - smaller than the screen in
8-bit mode yet say 32-bit mode.

Add to /etc/system and reboot....

*   GEM, 20 Mar 98
* harmless on systems that won't actually use it, so generic
 
set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax=8388608
