Turning off the shared memory did the trick for now - thanks! Perhaps the
reason I saw this first is the ~anemic 256MB currently in the box? This is
mainly a machine for my artistic teenage kids out of my wallet, but I expect
I'll add more memory soon.
I'm about to run Y2K. What reports have come in? I would now have a chance at
running it on a new maxed-out dual processor PowerMac at work, but not sure
when I would get to that.
