[daip] AIPS and Mandrake

Hi there,
	I plan on installing AIPS on a Gateway
PC where I have stripped off Windows and 
installed Linux. For various reasons I am going
to be installing the Mandrake 8.2 version
of Linux. Do you know if others have had success
running AIPS on this particular version of Linux?
I notice on your installation discussion information
regarding Red Hat, but I see no mention of
Mandrake.
