Jim,

I know, but shouldn't novices know what weights are.  
The danger with hiding WTTHRESH is that it is a
parameter which irrevocably flags the data.  Should
this be happening without the person using it knowing
it is happening?  Novices could easily believe they 
are loading in all of their data and they are not.
Particularly since it is not mentioned in the EXPLAIN
file.

The default in FITLD (which I assume you mean WTTHRESH=0)
turn the flagging off, which it should.  The HELP file
suggests 0.8.
