I have looked at the code and found a place where the data set needs
to be doubled (nearly) in size to provide place to store both data and
model.  With the random parameters your data set is 1072.2571 Mbytes
and the doubling requires 2084.2749+overhead which is just barely too
much.  I guess you will need to split the data set into parts for now.
 Linux is in the process of getting smarter but it will take a while
to propogate to production-use machines.
