I do not know how to solve your general proble with the last version of AIPS.
May be somebody yet from the small AIPS group can help you.

About UVCON:

If the last version of AIPS is still not available for you, I can 
send you the fortran codes of UVCON and ypu can create your private version 
which will be identical to the last one.

Lets wait untill tomorrow to choose the solution.

Hi Leonia,

How are things in Socorro?  Much warmer than here, I hope.

I have a favor to ask.  I have installed dec99 version of aips
here, following the standard installation procedure.  However,
I was not able to turn on the midnight job, and my aips is still
stuck in the last millinium.  Worse, I cannot run UVCON the way
I need to.  What is the best way to update my UVCON so I can do
a few more imaging simulations using AIPS?  Thanks for your
help in advance.
