[daip] PC phase cal in AIPS

There are some misprints again at his message:

>I had previously run ACCOR on the CL table to correct for the parallactic
>angle

ACCOR does not correct the parallactic angle, ACCOR has nothing to do with
a CL table.

>When I reversed the order and ran AACOR after PCCOR/CLCAL, it worked.

There is no AACOR in AIPS.

I do not send this message to professor Robert Mutel to stop analizing his
misprints. I am glad that PCCOR works.

Any other ideas?

Leonia

Dear Leonia,

Thanks for the quick response! Indeed I was running PCCOR, and the problem
was that I had previously run ACCOR on the CL table to
correct for the parallactic angle (this is a full polarization observation).
When I reversed the order and ran AACOR after PCCOR/CLCAL, it worked.

There's no indication of this in the cookbook; perhaps it should be noted.

Thanks,

Robert Mutel
