If it is not misprint, you used a wrong task. It should be PCCOR, not CLCOR.

Yes it has since the time when PCCOR was written (1996).
PCCOR was modified several times, but it has never been broken for
a long interval.

Nothing special but following the help file of PCCOR.

IF you use CLCOR instead of PCCOR THEN
   here is the answer
ELSE
   pay attension on the GAINVER -the input CL table;
   This table should not have any phase information;
   Best of all it should be REAL=1, IM=0.
   Print the short piece of the PC table and analyze it.

   IF you see something wrong there THEN
      here is the answer
   ELSE
      send me this short piece of the PC table;
      send me the IMH of your data;
      send me the input parameters uou use for PCCOR, CLCAL and POSSM
      END IF

   END IF

Dear designated AIP:

I am once again stymied by the phase calibration using PC tables for VLBA
reduction. When I last discussed this with AIPS staff in 1998 (Ketan I
think), it was broken and being worked on. I have installed 31DEC99 AIPS and
am reducing VLBA data from April 2000 with attached PC table. I believe I
have followed the cookbook recommendations and have applied the attached PC
table correctly using CLCOR followed by CLCAL. However, the POSSM plots
clearly show that the phase cal didn't work.

My question is: does phase calibration across IFs with the supplied PC
tables work? If so, is there some subtlety involved that I need to be aware
of?

Thanks,

Robert Mutel
