Pat,

It would be nice if in each of BIN/$ARCH for the 31DEC99 virgin AIPS
installation, there was  tarball that could be retrieved via the web page
rather than having to fire up ftp directly.

Currently, the structure is:

BIN/ has in it a separate subdirectory for each ARCH.

LINUX/
SOL/
etc.

I suggest adding a set of tarballs to BIN/ , one for each ARCH:

LINUX.tar
SOL.tar

etc.

I would think these should also be easy to generate automatically when
the contents of the BIN and DA00 directories change...
