Hi,
	Greetings from Bangalore!  I was 'aips manager' a few years ago
when I was at GMRT, Pune, India. Now I have finished my Ph. D. and working
in Bangalore, in the Astronomy group of Space Dept (it is called
"Technical Physics", but all of us are astronomers). 

I have installed AIPS here, from source code. The aips installation went
well (I have experience in the past). There is this peculier problem of
services. The ports 5000/tcp and 5002/tcp, required by AIPS are already in
use. I was told, it can not be changed. 

Do we have a solution for this?  I am willing to compile all from scratch,
if it is required. Can you please let me know?
