My apologies for not replying sooner; I'm trying to do too many jobs at
once.

It is necessary to run INSTEP2 and INSTEP4.  You don't need to run INSTEP3
as it is a subset of INSTEP4.

If you have an older version of AIPS, you can use the update.pl script
(highly recommended; it's a lot simpler than INSTEP1).  It and INSTEP1
will both give you instructions to run INSTEP2 and then INSTEP4 after they
are finished setting things up.

Sorry for the confusion and the delay.  Let me know if you need more help,
and when you need the "mnj" secure shell key.  

We should be very careful about time zones to avoid ambiguity, as there's
about 14 hours difference between us!
