 Hi difx-users and -developers,

Thanks to everyone who attended mini-workshop #1 today - we had 18 people
online and it was great to see some familiar faces and also hear from some
newcomers. We had a productive discussion of SVN to git migration issues,
and I think we have a good roadmap for completing this migration over the
coming months.

For anyone who missed the meeting and wishes to review it, the recording is
available at the following links:

My somewhat-curated meeting notes are available on the wiki page for this
meeting:
https://www.atnf.csiro.au/vlbi/dokuwiki/doku.php/difx/meetings/2020miniworkshop1.
I’ve reproduced the key action items here:

   - All difx-developers please provide Greg Lindahl with their github
username and their ATNF SVN username (to facilitate access and to associate
previous SVN commits to the git history). If you don’t have Greg’s email
address, you can send to me and I will forward them on. If you don’t have
a github account, you might like to make one now!
   - Git transition working group membership should be finalised and tasks
allocated. Contact Greg Lindahl if you would like to join the working group.
   - Adam to follow up with Shaoguang about potential barriers to using
   github in China.

Plans for the next meeting are available at
https://www.atnf.csiro.au/vlbi/dokuwiki/doku.php/difx/meetings/2020miniworkshop2.
The date/time proposed is Tuesday December 1, 1500UT (so east coast
Australia draws the short straw this time). I will be in touch with the
proposed speakers shortly, and I will send around connection details prior
to the event.

Cheers,
Adam
