Additions, corrections or comments?

1.	Ongoing Activities Summary

•	ASAC: The ASAC will hold their monthly meeting on 3 May; an agenda has 
been prepared.
•	A response to the ASAC’s report on their charges presented in Kyoto 
was approved by the Board after clarification was added by Wilson.
•	Science IPT:  The Science IPT participated in the 24-25 April SRR 
meeting with Emerson chairing the review panel.  Laing, Kawabe and 
Wilson also attended, and Vila Vilaro, Mangum and Wootten attended remotely.
•	Emerson orchestrated another holography meeting.
•	Brogan, with Emerson and Wootten, discussed the quarter wave plate 
requirements document with the Science IPT.
•	Members of IPT developed and submitted a CRE to the antenna technical 
specifications to improve the design of the scattering cone.  This 
change could potentially add two antennas worth of sensitivity to ALMA.
•	Remijan delivered a talk at the Jansky Symposium at the NRAO Array 
Operations Center.
•	Carilli will represent ALMA at the Great Observatories workshop in 
Pasadena later in May.
•	Wilson submitted Project Scientist report to ALMA Board.
•	Quarterly Report was submitted to the AN PM.  Wootten will augment 
this for the NSF report.
•	ANASAC telecon was held 28 April.
•	Emerson, Laing and Wilson attended RadioNet meeting in Volterra.
•	Wootten wrote ALMA Biweekly CalendarNA.
•	Hogerheijde submitted a plan for an update of the DRSP in accord with 
the recommendation of the ASAC; IPT leader comments to be incorporated.
•	EPO: Wootten and Hibbard began proposal for ALMA Town Meeting for 
Seattle AAS.
•	Wilson and Wootten prepared for ALMA Workshop on large molecules, 8 
May in Denmark.
•	New ALMA photo gallery added to www.alma.nrao.edu
•	Calibration
•	 Considerable work which has been done on calibration was presented to 
SRR.
•	Imaging:  Holdaway has been working on new >100 field mosaicking 
algorithms with AOC staff.
•	Site characterization: Ocampo visited NRAO trailer and confirmed its 
operational status.  Radford and Nyman were to remove the CR4 hygrometer 
for recalibration and redeployment at the OSF this week.  The Davis 
weather station with its anemometer were to be removed from the ESO 
trailer for redeployment at the OSF.
•	ARCs:   Considerable work has been done on budgetary planning, with 
internal review at NRAO this biweek followed by presentations at NSF.
