When addressing an antenna problem, usually with "LCP or RCP weak or 
dead," we check both channels with a spectrum analyzer to verify the bad 
channel.  If it's a cabling issue, we'll fix that channel.  If the 
problem appears in the receiver, we just replace the whole receiver and 
sort out the bad channel(s) back in the lab.

In other words, on a reported bad low band antenna, we generally check 
the entire system, not just the reported polarization, to determine what 
maintenance action(s) are required.

Still, it will be nice someday for our LCP to be the same as yours!
