We are considering several solutions for the lighting problems near
rack.  One of these is an LED fixture internal to the rack with a
door-mounted switch to control the operation of the light.  It should
be easy to connect this switch to a monitor point that would alert
operations if the door failed to close properly.  In addition to
cooling, it seems that RFI is a large concern as well.  If this sounds
like a good idea, we can weight the selection of this lighting
solution a bit more.  It is a bit preliminary at this point as we have
not yet received a test fixture and cannot evaluate it's usefulness.
So mainly I am just soliciting opinions on this "kill two birds with
one stone".
