I reported earlier on how the last 18 seconds of any scan produced
no fringes (and was not flagged) whenever the following scan was at a
frequency which reversed the sideband.
Software changes in the right places have been made, and I ran a
short test to see if all works correctly.
It does. The '18-second dead zone' seems to be completely gone.
