Sep 10; AM899 quick comments:
1. Lband, two IF's, two Pols, each with 7 channels
2. Antenna 1 all bands horrible with many kJy amplitude spikes--must
flag. Rest of data looks good except for a little interference and
usual phase jumps on 11. (14 and 18 are out)
3. The bandpass amplitude shapes for all telescopes changed parity
between the Sep 8 and Sep 10 AM899 observations. Sep 8 chan 1->7 looks
like Sep 10 chan 7->1. YET, THE PHASES REMAIN THE SAME PARITY
(reference was antenna 6 in both cases). Is this just a coindicence?
Since there has been a discussion about frequency directions, did
something change? puzzled.
4. Ante 6, IF2, stokes L has very low calibration value, reminiscent of
the ante 19 problem a few weeks ago. This may give an artifically high
weight to this telescopes.
5. Images look fine. As expected, some correlator offset crud at
center of deep field.
