I just realized that there has been no clear statement of
what happened and its effects.

At about 0039 IAT on July 25 all the L302s ceased to work
during a test observation because of a combination of software
errors.  They did not funtion properly again until they were
reset the following morning about 15 hours later.  No useful
data was received from EVLA antennas during that interval.
