NASA very definitely uses the term Ka band for their
spacecraft communication.  Given that we are trying to
establish partnerships with them for Ka band activities,
it is much more important to be consistent with them than
to follow any rules for the rest of the world.  If the
rest of the world is confused and NASA understands what
the band is, that's good enough for me.  I advocate
sticking with Ka band.
