[evlatests] Current state of the Modcomp-free system

There are timing issues within the correlatorController->vispipe->idcaf
system. These are currently sidestepped by bypassing the code that handles
times. This may lead to unpredictable results for integration times shorter
than about five seconds.

Pointing does not work - at the moment it is not possible to specify both
a calcode and pointing mode, both of which are required for the pointing
solver to work.

Delays have not been set at K and Q bands.

Major planet observations are supported in the Executor, but not in
obs2script - they are implemented in a way difficult for obs2script to
support. A more compatible implementation is contemplated.

Autophasing has not been tested. No control over the phased array hardware
yet exists.

There is a known bug which causes the system to fail if correlator mode
is changed on two successive scans.

The "subreflector rotation trick" for increased efficiency at short
wavelengths has not been implemented.

Subarraying has not been tested (except for the primative case of a
subarray that doesn't try to use the correlator, which works).

Holography mode has not been tested, but there is no known reason for it
to fail.

Should the above go on the EVLA returns page?
