All,

We checked P-Band in the antenna and found that the 1024 LO is indeed 
leaking through at a level higher than expected and higher than it was when 
it was sent out to be installed.  Everyone was in such a rush-rush hurry to 
get the T301 out there that we never got the chance to properly check it 
out on the bench or in the test rack - then, of course, it sat there 
plugged in for months with no one using it because no one wanted to be 
bothered to hook up a couple of cables.  Today, we quickly realized that it 
was a waste of our time to troubleshoot it in the antenna so we pulled the 
module out and brought it back to the lab.  Paul Harden will check it out 
on the bench tomorrow and fix anything that went wrong.  Next week I plan 
to install the unit in the test rack to thoroughly test it - hopefully with 
a real P-band front end driving it. I don't plan to put it back into the 
antenna until Paul, Terry and I are all satisfied that it is working the 
way it is supposed to be - even if it means waiting for the new circuit boards.
